The Jack Krawcheck Memorial Trophy to honor CORA Boat of the Year is given to the boat that most exemplifies excellence in the following areas throughout the past year:  performance, participation, sportsmanship, seamanship, offshore participation and/or travel, introducing new people to the sport (including youth), knowledge of the rules, and being active in CORA (including involvement in race committee).  The CORA board nominates, discusses, and votes by secret ballot their pick for Boat of the Year.  The results are kept secret, even to the board, until it is awarded at the CORA Christmas Party.  A list of all recipients can be found here.
