Notice of Race: Fall Harbor Regatta
AMENDMENT to Sailing Instructions: 9/19/20 9:45AM
Due to high wind, racing will be conducted with the start/finish line located between a buoy off of the Carolina YC and an orange flag on the Carolina YC dock. Government buoys will be used as marks of the course. RC will announce courses on VHF73.
The Fall Harbor Regatta will be conducted on Saturday, Spetmber 19th, with a first start at 13:00. Classes A, B, C, D and J24 willl be started, per the CORA Uniform Sailing Instructions (USI's). Scoring will be via the PHRF Time-on-Time method. RC will run three windward/leeward races weather permitting, with no race starting after 16:15. The start and finish lines will be between an RC boat and inflatable marks, located in the general area of Middle Ground. Course marks will be either inflatable marks or government buoys. RC will announce the courses to be raced over VHF 73. Sailing Instructions are per the CORA USI's.

24th Annual Leukemia Cup Regatta and Fundraiser
Plan on joining us for the 24th Leukemia Cup Regatta and Fundraiser scheduled for Saturday, September 26th. We will conduct a race around Shutes Folly, followed by an online Virtual Celebration Awards and Fundraising event Saturday evening. Skippers can sign up for the event and start their fundraising at leukemiacup.org/sc. Registration is just $145 through August 31st. Offshore Challenge Series: Notice of Race
NOR Amendment 2 (5-23-2020). The NOR is updated as follows:
7.2 B and C Classes are combined. B and C will start and be scored together for all Series races.
NOR Amemdment 1 (05/20/20): The NOR is updated as follows:
4.0 Schedule of Races. The Gulfstreamer and Sheriffs Cup races are not included in the 2020 Series.
7.2 For Classes A, B, C and D the Series will consist of six (6) distance Offshore races. There will be one (1) throw out after four (4) completed races. To be eligible for a Series trophy a competitor must finish at least one overnight race in the Series. A minimum of three (3) completed races shall constitute a Series.
7.3 For the J24 Class the Offshore Series will include the Spring Ocean Race, Fall Ocean Race and the Alice Cup. The Alice Cup will be scored as two (2) races. Therefore, the Series will consist of four (4) races. There will be one (1) throw out after three (3) races. A minimum of three (3) completed races shall constitute a Series.

Race Committee Sign Up
It's Time to sign up and be apart of CORA Race Committee. There is a sign up for a PRO, DRO (Deputy or Asistant Race officer) Recorder, Assistant Recorder, Scorer and a volunteer boat. This year only one boat is going to be needed per race. There is a need for at least 2 volunteers from each boat. Don't forget to review the Race Committee Primer under the Race committee/ Volunteering for race committee drop down tab on the CORA Website. This will give you and your crew a understanding of what is expected. Remember to sign up by Boat Name.
